Dong Fang Hotel has been elected as one of the awardees at the Prime Awards for Eco-Business 2008 & 2009 recently held in Hong Kong. The Awards recognize the effort and accomplishments of promoting green environment and Dong Fang Hotel is the only hotel in Guangzhou that has been selected along with other large-scale corporations such as The Hong Kong Electric Co. Ltd..
The judging panel consisted of representatives from major Hong Kong environmental protection organizations, commence and industry associations and academic scholars. Entries were judged on such criteria as strategy and measure, consciousness, and innovative idea on environmental protection. As a responsible corporate citizen, the Dong Fang Hotel is dedicated to supporting environmental protection with a number of effective measures which have been incorporated into the design of the property. Dong Fang Hotel is one of the only listed five-star hotel in Guangzhou. What¡¯s more, it is the only hotel whole has the largest Central Garden in downtown. |
